Life has come full circle for me, I’m back at BCIT again, and no I’m not doing a degree program in business. I have enrolled in the New Media and Web Developement program at BCIT instead. Why did I make this decision? I found that I love the computer, I love the thought what goes behind the image I see on screen, I love all the creativeness that goes behind a website or an ad and I love the internet. My love for the internet is deep, there is no one day that I’m not  on the internet.

I love the Internet so much because of the many things internet can do for us: It can connect us to long lost friends, we can watch videos of just about anything, we can find information without going to the library, we can chat and play games, fall in love and get advice, just by going onto the internet.

Internet has become such a big part of my life for many of those reasons, I am always on the computer everyday and I finally thought to myself: If I am on the computer everyday why don’t I do something I actually enjoy and get paid for it and that is why I enrolled into this program in the hopes to find a career that relates to new media.

I know BCIT quite well already as I have taken Financial Management here already, it wasn’t a bad program, I just discovered numbers are not my cup of tea. But being at BCIT again is nice and strange at the same time. It has been quite a while since I got homework so it was hard to come home after school and sit down to do my homework instead of searching the net for leisure. And no I’m not holding a job anymore, so no more money to go into my pocket. Just money out, no money in.  On a postitive though, the coolest thing about the program would be that we got these cool looking Macbook Pro.

So here I am hitting the books again, wish me luck!
